Solrist Solder Spot Resist

Solrist Temporary Solder Resist

Solrist Peelable Spot Resist is a temporary solder resist designed to be applied on areas of printed circuit assemblies which require components to be added after wave soldering. A thin layer of Solrist is applied over holes and easily removed after drying through the soldering process. Solrist is non staining and is available in viscosity’s suitable for both manual and automated dispensing.

Solrist Process

The following process chart shows the order in which Solrist Solder Spot Resist should be applied.

Step 1 PCB
Step 2 Apply Solrist Solder Spot Resist
Step 3 Apply Liquid Flux
Step 4 Preheat
Step 5 Solder with Warton High Purity Bar Solder
Step 6

Peel Off Solrist coating

Step 7

Touch up and add missing components with Warton High Purity Cored Solder

Packaging

Solrist is available in 250ml squeeze bottle with nozzle applicator.
