Omega Rosin Free Cored Solder Wire

A rosin (colophony) free cored solder wire range which contains no rosin/resin acids, pine oil or other naturally occurring derivatives from pine trees and has been specifically designed to help reduce the number or world wide cases of industrial asthma, related to rosin usage within a cored solder wire.  Omega is available in three formulations (Omega Standard, Omega Plus and Omega Brush Wipe), in all solder alloys, including lead free alloys and in wire gauges from 10swg (3.25mm) to 32swg (0.274mm).  Omega passes the copper mirror corrosion  and surface insulation requirements of Bellcore TR-NWT-000078 and J-STD-004.

Rosin Free

 No Clean.  If cleaning is required use Warton Total Clean 200  Rated as an M-0R-LO flux type to J-STD-004, Passes Bellcore TR-NWT-000078 / J-STD-004 copper mirror corrosion and surface insulation resistance requirements.

Omega Plus

 Rosin Free, Halide activated, No Clean.  Excellent wetting, minimal no clean, clear residue.  Improved flow rate for fast soldering. 3,2,1 Slight Halide Activation No

Rosin Free

 No Clean.  If cleaning is required use Warton Total Clean 200 Rated as an ORL1 J-STD-004, Passes the surface insulation and corrosion requirements  of J-STD-004 and Bellcore GR-78 Core.
Omega Brush Wipe Rosin Free, Halide Free, No Clean.  Brush wipe, residues for operations requiring extreme cleanliness, without the use of solvent bench top cleaners.  Residues are easily removed with a dry brush.  Excellent wetting. 1 Halide Free No

Rosin Free

 Brush Wipe-able residue.  Residues are easily removed with dry brush Rated as an ORLO flux type to J-STD-004.  Passes corrosion and surface insulation requirements of both J-STD-004 and Bellcore GR-78 Core.
