Liquid Flux for Solder Wave
Warton's
range of liquid flux for solder wave are manufactured in the
UK and are available in many formulations. All fluxes
are designed to suit the various processes, solderability
and cleaning requirements of today's electronics industry.
Fluxes can be supplied in 5, 10, 25 and 205 litre containers.
Smaller sized bottles 125cc, 0.5 and 1 litre are available
on request.

A range
of low solids, no clean fluxes including Warton's
low temperature VOC Free flux, which exhibits no solder
balling, skips or bridging, even with a preheat temperature
as low as 80ºC (176°F) (topside board temperature).
The Ecowave low temperature activation system is available
in traditional alcohol formulations and low rosin content
type fluxes. Ecowave low activation system maintains
the maximum of heat stability, for all wave soldering operations,
for dual, single wave, conventional and SMT applications.
Ecowave
VOC Free formulations offer the maximum performance on conventional
Sn63 (63/37) and Lead Free alloys Sn96 and Lead Free TSC
alloy (Sn/Ag/Cu) - allowing ease of technology change.
A
range of colophony and halide free, low solids content,
no clean flux formulations for nitrogen applications.
Future exhibits a low temperature (80-100°C) top side board
temperature and no residue activity system, ensuring superior
solder-ability with exceptional cleanliness. Future
fluxes are controlled by specific gravity.
A
range of low solids fluxes which are free from colophony,
halide and volatile organic compounds. Aqua Pro is
considered a no residue flux and offers an environmentally
friendly option for no clean wave and dip soldering applications.
Aqua Pro is controlled by titration.
A
rosin based range of no clean fluxes available in varying
solids contents (3-35%) with rosin activated and halide
free formulations suitable for conventional and dual wave
SMT manufacturing processes. Hardcore fluxes
are controlled by their specific gravity.
Hydro
flux is a colophony free range of water wash fluxes, available
in organic activated and halide free formulations,
to suit both conventional and surface mount applications.
WSH
Flux Range
A
range of colophony based fluxes, typically used for applications
requiring an improved level of solderability. The
WSH range of soldering fluxes are solutions of activated
rosin, the activators having been chosen to leave minimal
residues on the printed circuit boards and for all purposes
can be considered non conductive and non corrosive after
soldering.
A
range of dipping fluxes which include a high temperature
rosin flux (28, 42 and 52% solids) for transformer and cable
dipping, with water based fluxes for use on brass, copper
and stainless steel.
Flux
can thicken due to solvent loss by evaporation. Thinners
may be added to restore the stipulated specific gravity
of the flux and so maintaining flux effectiveness.
Thinners are available in two formulations.
